They look great but I'd like to see some higher resolution grabs.

Why can't one simply crush the blacks because it looks good? I've been doing it for about three years on both 16mm and the DVX and it never had anything to do with masking noise or grain. It just goes with the look I want.

It's the last work of Oyari Ashiito (write it with only a "i", dvxuser thinks that it's a bad word), this guy is amazing. It's a sort of anniversary work of "Littlewitch" series, this one has all the characters of the series, with new stories.

I saw. I've never heard of Littlewitch but it looks dope. Not so much manga as I am anime (w00t. Eureka Seven just hit the states.. the whole series r0x.)

Okay no more hijacking. Great stills!
 
Kholi, "Littlewitch" series are sort of graphic novels, with some "rpg" elements into...it's oriented for adult (18+) for sexual content...they are very very well drawn and colors are STUNNING, if you are lucky you can preview some scene from the site. I can't post the links here...
I can PM if you want some *hot* scene! :)

I really like crushed blacks look, I'd want only know if you had been forced to crush blacks...

I crushed the blacks for style (it's a horror movie and I love crushed blacks) the camera noise issue which I keep hearing about is way way over rated. If you told a good story people will forgive the noise lol. Much props to Jan. My thoughts on the noise issue is this, if you have a problem check your: lighting, white b, black b, lens element, camera settings and finally if that doesnt work drop your camera off to me and I'll check it (:)) for a month and let you know whats what ;).

I like the stills -- i like the bluish, aniseptic hue that permeates your shots. very clinical. can you explain briefly what you mean by "crushing blacks"? You use a low gain setting?

I thought the stills were excellent. A few were so dark I was having a hard time knowing what I was looking at, but I think you intended that.

Looks very good and I would love to see a trailer/scene.

did you employ any color altering techniques while shooting or is it all post?
 
IHDkilledFILM., also like the look of the stills and the actors, they look like they have some unique characters (can't tell much from still though). did you use magic bullet for the effect?
