Rebate DVX100b

I never received my original rebate (only $200) that was offered when it first went on sale. Not very happy about that. :| Now I've got a hole in my box, so I can't even use it if I ever wanted to ship my camera (to the folks at ReelStreem.

I sent my request for rebate in via the mail.
 
You should call the rebate folks and ask them about your rebate. The phone number is (866)339-4296. They should be able to track down why because there is a reason. It does seem to be taking a little longer than I would expect but if you have a legitimate US camera you will get your rebate.

It's been four weeks since my check has been "in process", and that's fine, but I have not received the book/magic bullet stuff yet. It sounds like this stuff is shipped sooner and seperate from the check, so should i be worried that i haven't received the book/MB yet?
 
I received my dvx100b yesterday (purchase date 4/08/2006), I went to the website listed on the form that shipped with the camera and it will not work. It tells me the date i listed is not a valid purchase date. Any info as to why this will not work? And if I mail in the PDF form from the website will I get the book and DVD along with the $400 dollar rebate? Or do i Have to send in the form that came with the camera for the book and DVD and the online form for the $400?

P.S. This camera is incredible!!!

My fault on this one, I told everyone that the rebate was extended except the rebate folks. Not sure of their religious orientations on this auspicious day so let's give them till Monday afternoon sometime to fix it.

It will be fine. If you just want to get it done. The PDF will also work but it may take a little longer for the trigger to happen on the book and DVD. And you may even have to call them. I'd just wait till Monday. If I hear from them, I will come back and post that it has been cured on Good Friday. ;-)

Jan, I called the rebate company, they said they filed it two days ago and that I'll be getting a check in 6-8 weeks. Thanks. :)

I've left messages, and sent e-mails, and I get no response.
 
I tried the website that wayne was referring to today. It doesn't work. "The date is invalid"

Should I just call the rebate center?
 
Yes, I tried again today to enter it and it still says.

The purchase date that you entered is outside with the dates of this rebate offer.

Also Jan, Is this website just for the book/DVD or does it also process the $400?
Do I still need to send in the mail in form if i enter it online?

For the most part that is true, however, if you got a Congratulatory letter with your DVX then you can go to that rebate website and apply online. If your DVX Book and Magic Bullet came with the camera, you will have to use snail mail. If you didn't get a book and Magic Bullet and no congratulatory letter, then you probably have a gray market camera and do not qualify for the DVX Book, Magic Bullet or rebate.

Jarod, The folks at the Rebate company have been hung up in their processing, should be up and doing things right tomorrow. Keep me posted.

That link will process the 400 bucks and the book/dvd right, so I shouldn't have to mail in the rebate and UPC?

Awesome... mine went through as well.

Can't wait to get the goodies. The confirmation sent that my check request has been received so i'm assuming that they are processing the rebate as well as the book/dvd.
