Two clips from a recent shoot

Drew599,

Thanks for the feedback. I added another clip to the site. Nothing really all that exciting. Reeds twitching in the wind at dusk on a mountain.

Really nice footage. The mountain bike looks sweet with the fast shutter and yes you did have a great looking sky on that stuff. Is there any noise on the original footage?

thanks for showing it off..

There is a bit but not really that much. Although, I don't have an HD monitor. I'm just seeing everything in FCP on a 23" monitor.

Thanks for the feedback

Nice. Were you shooting handheld for the biking and paddle shots?

(side note: ouch, that Elsworth suspension sure bobs during pedaling)

Handheld for the mountain bike. A spider brace for the kayaking.

The dude pedaling was a stud. You could have popped his tires and he'd still be fast.

That's some pretty pretty pretty footage you have there, you should put your stuff on motionzone, I'm sure Mike would be more than proud to have your imagery..

great stuff

:)

rgdfilms - Thanks for the feedback. I have Gigs more (funny to say that) but cannot release it until the project is done for my client in June. After that its game on. Also, thank you for the feedback. I come from a graphic design background. This is my first stab at lead camera on a production so any critique is appreciated.

DavidBeier - I'm using H.264 640 by 360. I exported using quicktime conversion out of FCP 5.1

that ssome really nice footage, will look even greater with increased contrast, and saturation in the blue channel, the sky that is. for your client
