I'm going to put some actual shots from the HVX up later tonight once I get all the footage in off the drives.

The HVX was such a beautiful camera to work with. We rented the 8.4" ERG HD LCD Monitor along with the mini35 and everyone who watched the monitor was amazed by the color and DOF...I'll have a lot more to say later, but as my first real outing with the camera other than just messing around with my friends, I couldn't have had a better experience. We finished at 6am this morning and I'm already ready to go out and shoot another one!

We also used Anders Holck's P2 Offload software and it worked like a charm. once it's 100% ready, Panasonic should license it and include it with all their cameras...it totally sped up the workflow.

Did you ever have to use the camera handheld?

No, it was on sticks or a high-hat all the time...I can't imagine doing handheld on it.

Looking at #8934 I have to say I would be worried about having enough light. Especially with the HVX and potential for noise...add to that the 35mm adapter sucks up a few stops. Were the lgihts off at that point?
