Free Dolly Track to Good Home

Up for grabs is my very first set of tracks I ever built :crybaby: . I figure I would offer it up to you guys here instead of cutting it apart and using it for something else. It is 20 feet of steel track; two eight foot sections, and one four foot section. Pipe width is 17.5 inches wide center to center with an overall rail width of 24 inches. Still small enough to fit through every doorway I have ever come across. Now for the bad news... there is some weight to it. Each eight foot section weighs in at 38lbs. and the four foot section is 21.5lbs. It is definitely a soild piece of gear and has served me very well over the past couple years. If anyone is local, semi-local, or up for a road trip, let me know and we can work out a time to pick up the track. I am afraid that due to it's weight and size, trying to ship this thing would be a bit pointless. Not to mention that it would probably cost more than it did for me to build it.

Looks nice Chain smoker... you no likey no more?

Me likey long time, but I have accrued over 200 feet of pvc over the past year so I will use it to make my circle track, as well as straight, so everything lines up rather flawlessly. Plus I am going to be moving soon so time to clean house.

Im interested in the dolly track. My parents live in Palm Springs, CA. How long of a drive is it from there to Tucson do you think? Also they regularly drive out to their property in New Mexico, so maybe I could get them to pick it up for me. So if it is still available I would like to take a little weight off of your hands.
Thanks, David

Are you people really that dumb? He gave this stuff away almost a year ago. Read the date of his last post....

Actually, I never got rid of the track. All the PM's I received over it and nobody came to get it. So yes I still have the track, and yes I will still give it free of charge to whomever comes by and picks it up.

Hey David. I'm guessing it is anywhere from four to six hours or so. It's eight hours to L.A. and your somewhere in between. Something like that lol.

Hey Gary. Sorry, but I am keeping the dolly. I just don't use those pieces of track anymore so off to a good home they go.

Yeah, I think it is about 4 hours from Palm Springs, I'mn dumb for openly replying to this post, now everyone and their mom wants the track!
