Playback of HD Content

OK heres my question,

Once your HD content is edited and complete, what is the best method of playback? Without the help of blu-ray or hd-dvd we arent left with much.

Are dvd's capable of storing and playing back true HD content when played via dvd players with HDMI or DVI outputs? Otherwise how else can we store and watch our hd content on some type of media....

Thanks, Adam Aftab

put to HD tapes or HDmpeg stream on a mac to watch from the harddrive.
DVD's will not handle HD.

If you down rezz to DV 25. It still looks pretty sweet. Although, I hear that if you convert to uncompressed and the encode via DVD studio pro that is the best route.

If you've got an HD TV I believe you can also output to the P2 cards and plug in the HVX200 (depending on length of your media vs. size of P2 cards). Haven't done it, can't confirm.

Unfortunately we're waaaaaay ahead of the technology curve at this point. Looking forward to the blu-ray vs HDDVD title fight!
