Will HVX200 DV tapes play in a DVCAM deck?

Because I have been using a DVCam camera, I have a Sony DVCAM deck. So if I buy the HVX200 will I be able to playback the mini DV tapes in the deck for capturing? I have a feeling that I could if I record in DV25 but not if I record in DVCPro 25. Is that right? I prefer not to have the DVCAM deck become redundent.

Yes. I use the PD 150 , and dsr 20 DVCAM . and have a JVC DV/VHS deck that plays the footage. The HVX 200 shoots wonderfull DV footage and I wind up doing this a lot, rather than going to P2.

Yes,you can play the HVX DV tapes back in a DVCAM deck.

Those modes don't record to tape. And the DVCAM deck can't read a P2 card.
