thats definately not a power connection. Thats more like an input/output ribbon connector.

Nope. No provision for variable frame rates in 1080 (other than shooting 30p and bringing into a 24p project, or vice versa).

Has anyone noticed the little plate on the lower part of the chassis? If you unscrew it and remove it, you'll find the proprietary HQHD output connector which enables the camera to uprezz streaming footage to 4k. rogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I don't know what it's capable of, but one thought is it might be the input port for how they load the software for upgrading the camera's firmware...
