ok I took your advice and changed it up

Nice. Strange, and nice. Me like's.

Bump the audio up a bit though... even the last one where he say's "wake up" was a bit quiet compared to the wind sound effect. Video looked good and crisp, I wanna see more.

super nice picture. I agree with the audio - bump up the "wake up" a bit. Looks great; lets see more!

Can you slow the smoke down? What program did you use to create and composite it over the actual footage?

How are you speeding up and slowing down the action?

i shot it once just the actor and then with the smoke and layered them together. the key is to not move the camera

No no, I mean what program did you use for the smoke effect and can you slow the smoke effect down?? It's moving really fast.

yes I can slow down the smoke, I shot it without the actor using smoke bombs, not software with any kind of EFX

The "smoke" looked more like clouds to me, in fact, it was the only thing that bothered me because I just couldn't see smoke.....all I could see were clouds yet I knew that it was supposed to be smoke. Really nice color and exposure. I liked a lot! I'm working on a dream sequence myself.....also shot in barren desert land.

That's what I think. Maybe slowing that layer down would make it a bit better.

I could not do anything to make it raise, it was 2 smoke bombs that i lite off to camera left. it's funny but it did not even seem windy at all. anyway i re cut it so let me know what you think
