Music Video Shoot in Philly Dvx100A + Mini 35

I think it looks amazing. Did you guys use cine lenses? I forget, can you only use cine lenses with the P+S?

Great crane work, by the way.

Looks pretty cool. What an awesome location, something the East coast seems to have more of. I enjoyed the BTS pics as well.

finally got this to load all the way and it is very very cool right up until the live club stuff at the end. this part kinda lost me. it took me away from the mood that the factory shots had established. i get what you were going for but there were some problems. the stage was too small for the big rock look, the crowd was overacting and the light show was way too disco for a rock band. it looked staged. the video is so pro looking except for that part. i would lose it and put more of the other stuff. that mini 35 really is awesome and the cobra shots look nice and smooth. loved the lighting too. in the production shots, it looked like you had some flou's and halo's at the same time. is this correct? and if so, how did you handle white bal?

Music and video are very nice. I agree with one of the earlier comments about the live shots...maybe the camera quickly moving through the crowd would've elicited a stronger emotional bond between the viewer and the music. I especially like the dof shots through the window at the factory and also the lighting when he finds the mic in the dirt, etc...

cool.

Great location Mike. Was wondering if you got a permit or did this shoot guerilla?

Thanks

i got the same story from the guys here in long beach. the guy at the permit office said he was tearing up my application and to tell the cops that it was a personal project. saved me $1300.
