Lol....I wish I could. $209 at B&HPaPa said:how much for the CO+7?
lol would you make me one oh marlene girl!
Build the adapter and test it out with an inexpensive Asian Macro and an alternative screen, even sandwich bags if you can't find an aol screen. My first try at a wax screen yielded excellent results but it had the slightest of hot spots so I tossed it, subsequent tests haven't been as good but I can still try in my spare time. I even ground my own glass for a screen and although it was fair....I need to improve on it. I used a Nikon Type D and that was pretty good except for the dust problem between the screen and condenser.....I thought I had it clean and sealed the screen....but one little spec remained. Then I was looking at some CD cases in a shelf over my desk at work and noticed the AOL CD case looked a lot like my wax screen, so I cut a piece and tried that.....with pretty nice results.....in fact......it's my favorite so far. My point is that once you build your adapter, and build it so you can replace screens, then the fun really begins. The whole process is actually a lot of fun and probably a lot cheaper than a trip to Disneyland.PaPa said:i would love to build one myself, and i bought the pvc parts, but i just havent a single idea what to do about the whole wax screen versus GG or whatever.. What would you recommend, whats the best way to go about this marlene?
Yes and not only. Some cameras have macro (DVX100A) some don't (DVX100)ovjamaica said:Dan, so if you get the proper length you can bypass the macro altogether? Just curious about that. If I understand this correctly, the function of the macro (or achromat) is to make your overall adapter length shorter, right?
