(HVX Bootcamp) What would you like to know?

Yeah, to anyone even thinking about going to the Las Vegas Bootcamp, do it! It can only be better than the last time strictly on the fact it's in LV! :)

Barry's knowledge was shown in person in the ease in which he navigated through the HVX's menu.

Seeing Evin's on-set direct-to-disk workflow was a gem. Great stuff! (Just be careful of Rush's "top flight" script. :))

A small part of Rush's demo showed off a new training DVD set that he and Evin have been working on that looks like it'll be a great addition to any filmmaker's library, HVX/DVX owner or not. I'm really looking forward to that release. He said he wanted it ready for NAB, so keep your fingers crossed. (I'm sure it'll be in my hands before an actual FS-100 production model will be.)

The footage was very inspiring. Definitely got the creative juices flowing!

The DVD course is called Digital Cinema Filmmaker's Training Course.

Right now it's Las vegas then New York and possibly back to LA. Jarred know's more but we'll see. Thanks to all that attended, it was a real eye opener for us all.

Spectacular demo footage.
(The Viper/HVX comaprison was astounding!)
I just checked some footage I shot that day (alongside a demonstration) on a 56" Panasonic monitor at Fry's (surely annoying the hell out of the salesperson...) All I can say is...This camera ROCKS.
I really appreciate all the enthusiasts associated with this forum who support the camera.
It was just great to see a group of creative people so excited about an advanced technology that they were investing their time to and money to soak up as much knowledge as possible.

Thanks unfiltered, I sure do hope to get that ready by NAB, :) as long as the quality and precision of the information is done by then. The website will be up in a couple days, and I will post it here. Evin did an excellent job shooting it.
