Fear of Clowns

Does anyone know what camera they used to shoot the movie Fear of Clowns? It looks like it may be DV? Definetly shot on video though, that's for sure.

I don't know, but I saw it two nights ago and it was freaking terrible. I love crappy movies, but that was just plain boring.

That's disappointing, Horse, I love the title. Looks like I'm going to have to write a freaky killer clown movie...

Please do so Blain. I hate that someone would try to ruin my perfectly good fear of clowns with this movie. :lipsrseal

But it does look DV ish... maybe a SDx900 or something?

It looks like they may have used a couple cameras. From what I saw on the special features, it looked like they may have been using a DVX100 most of the time! But it was hard to tell, because they blurred the camera most of the time so I could be wrong.

can you guys imagine the day, 25 maybe 30 years from now when people include DV in films to give it that "old" look...... like the way we make "super8" effects to give a time and a place to a shot.....

sorry just got to thinking about the future.

what they will do to give it that "old" look is to shoot on film.

Do it, man. I couldn't stay awake through this one. Granted, I'd had a cocktail or twelve, but still. I can usually stay awake if the flick is solid.
