(HVX Bootcamp) What would you like to know?

To aid flight schedule planning what time will class end? How late can we stay after to network? Thanks, Dave

I'll be attending bootcamp vegas for sure, and I'd just like to second my vote for a comprehnsive lighting tutorial. Also, any word on who the speakers for Vegas will be? The raves I've been hearing about the DP that is going to be present for the LA class make me really hope he shows up for the Vegas camp.

We're attempting to get the same speakers, or as close as we can. People have to understand that the price will be higher for the Vegas one. In L.A., all those guys live there -- no travel expenses, no hotels, etc. In Vegas we're having to fly the speakers and presenters in and put them up, so the Vegas seminar will be more expensive.

Hey, Mr. Green - You have a spare bedroom for a fellow Element owner, right?

I really hope I can make this one...I've already convinced my wife now I just have to crack open all the piggy banks :)

I am now oficially "on board" for the Vegas bootcamp.

fantastic day.. thanks for everyone showing up, it was great to see some you in the living flesh.

Thanks to Evin and Rush and Noah as well as Peter for coming along and telling some great stories... was a blast.

YES. THANKS TO EVERYONE!! All you guys rocked. I just arrived home to San Diego but the long drive was well worth it. I don't have the hvx yet, but I truly have ZERO doubts about this camera. Seeing the demo reel was just unbelieveable.

Bootcamp Fantastic!!

Bootcamp Fantastic!!

I was very glad to be there. HIGHLY recommend this for other enthusiasts. Thanks for including me. Peter.

You're welcome Jarred, and it really was my pleasure. It was nice seeing Barry again and meeting Noah and all the guys I hadn't met before. :)

The Eye Candy clips were worth the price of admission alone, especially when we learned that everything was shot with the stock lens. Wow!

This removed all doubts from my mind about purchasing an HVX. I just wish Panasonic would have stepped up to the plate and shown examples of this quality themselves.

Great Day,

Ok - now I can't get over there in time for the LV one (can't afford it more like) so will there be the possibility of buying a DVD of Bootcamp events and clips? I'm happy to pay - as this sounds phenomonal!!! Being in Australia - it's a little hard to get across to you... :D

How was the L.A. Hvx bootcamp?

How was the L.A. Hvx bootcamp?

Hello Everybody,

I was just hoping that those who went to the L.A. Hvx bootcamp would let us know what they thought-comments?

I REALLY wish I could have gone, just as I wish I could go to NAB this year, got my invitation and everything, but I can't make it...maybe next year. Sometimes living in the South East can suck.

Anyways, please let the rest of us know how the bootcamp went.

Thanks

That was a hoot, glad to hear people got something good out of the day. And great job Barry, Rush, Evin and of course Jarred. The Abel folks really made us feel at home. I learned a ton too and the demo footage rocked!
