I's it possible to get focas assist on anything other than the lcd screen ?
I could do with having it on my external sd monitor but can't figure out how.
Any ideas cheers

No, it's because any decent monitor will be showing the footage at full res already anyway. The focus assist magnifies the image so that it's displaying at full res (or close to it) on the camera's LCD; if you have an external HD monitor, basically the entire SCREEN is "focus assist"! :)

I'ts kinda hard to find a hd monitor for the right price unless you have any good recomendations ?
I just thought that the focas assit function would work greate on a sd field monitor.
