HVX in Pelican 1510 *pic

Pelican case 1510 size = 50.1 L x 27.9 W x 19.3 D
Pelican case 1550 size = 48.1 L x 36.7 W x 19.7 D

The 2cm wouldn't do that much a difference. I could be wrong...

Looking at the start of the thread, it does look rather large for a 1510. maybe the poster got his numbers mixed up. His image looks comparable in size to my 1650.

Its the Vocas 350 and it'd da bomb. Cheaper than the chroszeil system and just as good if not better.

It looks large for a 1510. I want to buy one, but I'm scared what I get will be a lot smaller than the case in your pics.

Here's some photos so you can see it in scale. I know this may come as a suprise, but the 1510 is actually about the same length as a normal everday stick of Chapstick. I just picked this one up at RiteAid.

Some people say I'm pretty tall and big. I'm no Goliath. I don't know, maybe these don't tell the whole story. I'll work on some more photos.
 
I guess that would make for the biggest chapstick in the world if you compare the two shots!

In all seriousness, here are some new photos to prove I'm not crazy. This isn't a joke. I bought the 1510, and the first pic is accurate. I feel like Henry Gale in LOST who can't get anyone to believe him. Only he was lying, I'm telling the truth.

Hey do you know of any worlwide sellers of these cases. Im in dubai and am thinking of investing in transport more than accesories for the camera. Realy want it to be safe, my babe :). If you do please tell, or any shoulder strap soft bags may be nice. But that thing looks hard core, and would be nice for traveling. How much did that cost you sorry?

Its funny you say that. I have a 1550, and it was REALLY hard for me to put it handle side up, for this same reason. The other side with the DVCPROHD logo and all of the cool gadgets looks so much better facing up instead of the handle/tape deck side. But I ended up giving in to functionality over looks. But it was hard. Real hard :)

By the way, you are a much better foam picker than I am. I am currently waiting on my second batch of foam to come in the mail after I murdered the first batch.
