So, I've read all the 35 mm adapters threads. Some of it made sense to me, but can someone explain to me how to choose one. Here's are my questions

1. You purchase the adapeter only right ? The lens is something else that's really exxpensive ?

2. How much should I put aside, about for something not too fancy including the pricce of a lens (1000$, 2000$, 3000$ ...) I know you can probalby spend alot but someone NOT to fancy?

3. Should I buy one now, or wait for cinemek for example.

Basicly, I understand how the Adapeter works, I would just like tips as to what should I purchase for a DVX100A for a really exagerated DOF

Thank you, (I have no idea if this thread makes sense)

1. Yes, just the adapter unless you get one of the DIY kits where you buy the adapter and lens perm together
2. They start at $200 and go up to $10000 for the adapter. Lenses start at $20 and go up to $10,000 or above (depending if you are using 35mm camera lenses or cinema lenses)
3. depends on what you are looking for. There are a lot of options and lots of threads discussing them all

Good Luck!

1. Yes, you purchase just the adapter. Some are lens specific and some aren't
2. You can make one yourself for around $150 plus a lens or you can buy one anywhere from $500 up to as much as $7,000+
3. Can't answer that

Opps.......just notice The Yankees post......well I guess we sorta agree.

There's a lot of 35mm adapter disscussion here.......happy searchin
