in any case, i have another layman's question; hopefully i'm not the only one trying to understand this----what is the point of the whole vibrating GG???? i read the article (very in-depth) shoot-off off the letus35 flip and the sg35 adapters and it mentions that the mechanism vibrating the GG in the sg35 was audible at TEN FEET AWAY!!! wtf??? i plan on getting an adapter by summer, and cannot imagine having something making so much noise on my camera. how the hell are you supposed to use a cam-mounted shotgun?
someone explain this please if you have the patienceand why ed's adapter doesn't have/need one.

I wish people can do a next shoot out, at that time, Wayne and myself will be ready to face G35, M2, MPIC, Mini35, and any adapter that will be commercially available. Thanks.

I had a UV filter and a step down ring between the DVX and the screen so it gave it enough distance to allow the DVX to focus on it. The focusing screen I am using is too small though, so it doesn't fill the frame. But I am getting another GG next week or so that will fill the frame at that close distance. If I can cut the macros out entirely I shouldn't have to deal with chroma aberration. Plus the length of the adapter will be shortened. Time will tell. I'll post results when I am done.
