Is the student copy of Avid Xpress Pro HD the same as the regular one?

I'd like to get Avid Xpress Pro 5.2 (a friend gave me 5.0 but it's buggy as hell) so I can edit HD stuff from the HVX200. I can't afford the $1700 price tag but I hear students can get it for only $300. Is it the same thing or is the student version downgraded as with the student version of final cut?

It's the exact same software, however there's a provision in the Edu version that you cannot use the software to make money.

Also, if you have 5.0 the download to 5.2 is free.

I have it but for the Mac so I cannot edit in HD yet on it (not that I have an HD camera yet). It is a great program, and it works great.
