Hey again,
First, thanks for all the honest responses! I'll try to answer some of the questions.
Yeah, the song is from garageband. I had never used it before, so I fiddled around with it for a little bit and came up with that. From the general opinion, I guess I'm no composer! lol. I showed it to a bunch of people before posting it here and they didn't seem to mind, but I trust the general wisdom of the DVX Users.
We shot the project in a day. Editing and cc took a couple more days.
We didn't have any adapters for the shoot and we shot almost everything at 1/1000 shutter, and on 24PA. We also used a polarizer for a couple shots.
The editing and cc was all done in Final Cut Pro 4.5. For the cc we used mainly the 3-way color correction and brightness/contrast filters.
As for the clones running up the stairs...for the closest shot I had him run up all three aisles and then threw some garbage mattes in there and offset the video on each layer to the correct time.
For the wider shots I had him run up just one aisle, and then used a garbage matte and dragged him over to each seperate aisle. That took a bit more tweaking for each clone (scale, brightness/contrast, etc.).
Again, thanks for all the responses and opinions. If you have any more questions, please let me know!
