See ya'll soon!

Ok, I made it. The trip home was almost the hardest part. :) Great drs, great nursing staff, my mom slept in the room with me the whole time I was there, looking out for me. :)

I was slightly disappointed that my emergency contact, "Leo", never came to see me the whole time I was there. hmpf!

Best part was when two friends of mine came to see me. One is a police officer who came in in uniform. The nurses thought he was there to apprehend someone. haha!!!! And my other friend, David, who showed up wearing an orange ball cap, a blues brothers t-shirt, black converse sneakers and a red plaid kilt. haha!!!! :D To see the nurses coming in to check my vitals and finding such an odd assortment of people milling around my room, and them trying to act like everyone has visitors like this, was pretty funny. heh!

Missed ya'll!!! :love4:

Thanks, I am doing very well. I was bitching in the hospital about being bedridden for a whole day. I wanted to get up and move around, but they wouldnt let me. Not til yesterday morning. I still hate general anesthesia, although I'm sure it beats having major surgery while conscious and feeling. It just freaks me out. There was one moment when, if the way ahd been clear, I would have jumped off the table and walked out of the hospital. But abject fear held me in place, and then, well, it was too late. The magic drug had been put into my IV and I was being wheeled at highspeed to the OR. I kept my eyes closed during that trip, and I dont remember a thing after looking back at my mom and daughter as they pushed the gurney down the hall. That's when I shut my eyes.

And btw, morphine drips are the most wondrous things on planet earth. :)
