we are working out the price.. im trying to get it so people walk away with as much loot as possible included in the price.

Dont know about spokane.. we will probally do LA, then either LV or NY second.
 
ok we are going ahead with this.. we just need to set the date, which is better for everyone, April 2nd, or April 7th? Maybe i will start a poll for this.

dont worry vegas is definately on the list, and since we gotta do it before Barry leaves, it will probally be #2.
 
So, if L.A. gets April 7, does that mean Vegas gets April 2nd? Also, with NAB only a week or so later, could we coordinate the Vegas class with NAB?

The closer to NAB, the more expensive the hotel rates. Just sayin'.
 
yeah.. right after NAB for Vegas will probally be better, as hotel rates drop to nothing and most of you can have a nice cheap holiday that are out of town.
 
make that the 8th.. the 7th is a Friday and some people actually have real jobs and or school... so Saturday is better.

That'll work, too. My normal days off from NBC are Friday and Saturday. I'd rather spend the Friday farting around in LV than Saturday. (Less people.)

By the way, hotel rates on the 7th are brutal right now. The Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association is having their annual convention April 5-7, so that's not helping at all. $229.99/Friday at the Excalibur.

Might want to think about having the class during the week. I've seen rates as low at $50 a night at Circus Circus, or even having it off the strip downtown somewhere. Just a suggestion.
 
We're talking about Los Angeles, not Las Vegas. No dates are under discussion for LV yet, we're just trying to sort out the first one, which will be in L.A.
 
I voted for the 2nd...I don't think I'll be able to make the 8th. I can also furnish an Arri Softbank kit, litepanels and steadicam to try out, and refer a model.
