P2 menu on monitor: RCA yes Component No?

I hooked up my camera to a Maxent LCD television and found the P2 menu up on the screen when I ran my video thru the yellow RCA port. When I used the component wire I was not able to see the P2 menu projected.

I didn't expect to see it either way so I was pleasantly surprised.

Yep. It sure would be nice to see the menu in component mode too. But again....if this is all we have to complain about...this is a helluva camera.

The menu does show up on the component output for me. Not sure what I am doing that you guys are not.

Used it today into my Dell 2405.

The video out OSD menu will show up, but the P2 menu? With the P2 icon display? AFAIK that won't show up on component outputs, only on s-video or composite...

I was talking about P2 playback mode. I can get on-screen display with live video....and overtop of video playing back from P2 but just can't see the actual P2 thumbnails.....oh well.
