My Sci Fi short. Too little too late

VERY nice vampiresoup. It has been a while since I really laughed at something on this site, good job. Acting was great, youve got talent there. It flowed great and there was no awkward pauses or moments at all, i loved it. Question. What type of boom mic did you use and how much did it cost you? Cant wait to see more from you!

I used a Sennheiser MKH60 shotgun but the person using it had no idea what they were doing. And neither did I frankly. It sounds a bit tinny. and the wide sounds hollow

Haha that was great!

For some reason the 'antogonist' in this film reminded me of a mixture of Nicholas Cage and Tom Cruise.

Well done!

Jesse

hah , I was thinking Nicholas Cage and Jim Carrey

yeah, I'm going to have to make a stop and say you made me laugh which I don't normally watching these types of shorts. Good stuff.......*****!

i wish i could do a scene with ya man. Its tough finding fellow actors who dig doing shorts.

Excellent indeed. What really caught my attention was the dialogue, very, very well written, very smart, hillaaaaarious dude. Did you write that all at once or did it take a while, going back and changing things and stuff? How did it flow out of you?
One of the best ones I've seen here, ten out of ten, no doubt! I couldn't find any flaws in it. Give us more!!!

Well, I made this. Only had one light and a bounce but it turned out pretty well. DVX rocks.

LMFAO.... I wanted to point out the good bits, watched it about five times now, but I'd take up too much space and I can't find any bad bits either, lol so just ........ Absolutely Brilliant!!!!!!!.

Well done, the acting was brilliant, you both worked so well together, everything just 'clicked' :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I wrote it in 20 minutes. We shot it in 4 hours. It took me like 800 hours to edit. I think editing is one of the most neglected aspects of filmmaking. Makes or breaks a short.

I have another short I did but I'm having trouble uploading it. The damn sound is always off when it uploads. I'll keep ya posted.

Thanks for the comments!

coming from someone who has never been a fan of either star wars or star trek, that was hilarious. good stuff.

Ha ha that was great, I just watched it again. This should have been in the sci fi fest, it woulda won I think.
Brian Chambers reminded me a lot of the guy who play Agent Pierce on '24'.. he has that same sort of stoic soft spoken big stick kind of vibe.
Good scene... do more!

Much better than I was expecting, I chuckled out loud a few times.

I enjoyed it a lot more than many of the other entries submitted. Good job. :)
