My daughter got jacked at the ATM today

You two need to seriously think about taking a loooooooong break (after your daughter graduates) and come visit the friendliest place on Earth (no, NOT Disneyland!). I'll send you a PM.

OK, that just sounds downright... weird, PK. :cheesy: (j/k) :)

Terri - Glad to hear the two of you survived with your lives and finances intact.

Maybe it's time to think about it.

Dang, glad you and your daughter are OK Terri.

I had an experience like this, except some guy was trying to steal my car. I went up to my car and it was surreal seeing someone in it I didn't know. So I confronted him and he left. The bastard only took my $10 sunglasses, all my change (literally $5 in pennies) and a few $1 bills in my ash tray. Some people are so desparate.

No, I like to think that my life is refusing to let me sit and wonder what it must be like if (fill in the blank) were to happen. Or, what would I do in *this* situation. I've had as many good tasty things in my life as unsavory, and its left my soul pregnant with stories of it all.
That's a very cool way to put it, and a great attitude.

I'm glad that you two are okay. I bet she's so greatful that she'll let you post another embarassing picture.

Glad to hear yer ok Terri. Good and heads up on the writing down thing. You were lucky they weren't a little more nasty. You had someone lookin out for you I think . ..

I hate to disagree with Dave, and god willing it doesn't, but if something like that should happen again, give them what they want. Nothing is worth the price of you or your daughter being hurt.

And people wonder why I wanna get a conceled weapons permit . . .

Wow! Crazy story. I'm glad everything ended up alright.

You know, pens can be very dangerous weapons. Seriously. It's easier than many people realize to kill a person with a pen.

I'm glad you and your daughter are ok--what a scary experience. You immediately contacted the police, right?

Wow, glad to see that you came out alright. Some crackhead broke into a friends van once and took a jar of change he had in there. My friend danced on the dudes rib cage pretty heavy, said he heard some cracking noises. Anyways you should carry some protection. If not a gun at least get some of that mace stuff like PJC said and maybe a noise maker.

Terry-I cant think about "it" because I would surely end up using "it". I get into enough trouble without "it". heh!

PK-all taken under advisement. :) Since I've had someone perpetrate identity theft on me once before to the tune of over $25,000 I am taking the path of extreme care in contacting companies who autodraft and cancelling my card. I'm in possession of my card, but I dont know if they got the numbers of of it to do damage another way, like online credit apps, etc.

Barry_S-yes, spoke with the police. I am following up with them on Monday after talking with the bank.

And Rapier- yes, there is nothing in this world more important than my daughter. If it came to that, I would give up the goods. I half thought that was why the one lady went back to the car so fast when I got there, to get something out of the glove compartment. But when actually IN the situation, I was just really REALLY pissed. Not alot of forethought in anything. It was wierd.

OMG

Does it never end ?

I went to the Counter at PAT AND OSCARS and Jared was 19 ' away and I watched his ass like it was the last ass oif the Mohican tribe

Terri, sorry to hear of this some people make me sick. Great job for being so brave, your a hard nut to crack...keep safe
