X-Men 3

I get this sinking feeling that X-men 3 will be another reason to add to the list of why I can't stand Brett Ratner.

i hope it isnt. if so i will seriously hate Ratner for the rest of my life for ruining this movie.

I don't think you can just blame him. Even though I do feel he is a weak director.

From what I've read the studios have made this a difficult production by limiting the budget and forcing him to put it out by this May to beat/compete with Singer's Superman.

I'll say this if Ratner pulls off a worthy sequel I'll be among the first to toss some praise on this board for him. But thats a big IF...

Yeah, sounds like the typincal trying to make a movie in Hollywood story. I think a more seasoned and more talented director could have whipped up a worthy X Men sequel while dealing with Fox their Singer feud... Ratner is not that director, which is why I have no expectations for X 3.

I would be amazed if he pulled off a halfway decent sequel not because of the above, which I feel is just very typical of big studio films, but because he's Brett Ratner.

Singer really should've finished the trilogy he started.
He could've put superman off for another year.

ya i agree filmjunkie. but he did get a blank slate for superman...

i would have finished the trilogy though. (i'm a little biased though, i've always been an X-Men fan more than a Superman fan)

I really want to see Singer make that longtalked about sequel to The Usual Suspects.
That's what I wanna see!

i never heard him talk about a sequel to that.

i'd love to see that too!

A Usual Suspects sequel is news to me too.

Seeing Kaiser Soset on screen again is worth the price of the engorged theater admission.

DUUUUUUDE! SWEEEEEET!

I'm getting so amped for this one. Makes me want to go watch the first two right now.

In fact...

Yeah, I have a good feeling about this one.

I hope Ratner doesn't screw us all and finishes the trilogy on a high note.

Ah.. Xmen-3.. I liked the first two films, to be honest.

I just wish they finished filming already. I think they did. One night I woke up from what sounded like a grenade or some sort of cannon. The next day I got a note in the mail that said I shouldn't worry, and they're just shooting some stunt scenes for Xmen 3 across the road here.

Well.. At least there will be explosions to look forward to. And I think a shot with a helicopter. It was flying for 3 days around here, I thought I'll go deaf.

I've spoken to a guy here, and he told me they only accept union workers on the big productions like this one. Is that true, or I can just pop in, and maybe pour extras some tea, or clean the sh*t from the portable potties?
