No, they were going to board the space ship in Hale-Bopp's tail because they were so well adjusted. And what the hell was going on in the middle of the jungle?

I was joking and being sarcastic. My point is that I have a really hard time believing anyone in that movie would follow William Hurt. He didn't have the charisma of a leader capable of swaying people to do idiotic things. The movie's success hinges on your belief of this premise, and I didn't. I just thought it was idiotic.

Stop offering me beer! May be I'm not tired, maybe I'm drunk...

No, I am beat but I think I got to that I'm too tired to sleep place again. I worked an overnight last night. Went to bed @ 9am, our great puppy woke me up at noon and I've been up ever since...playing Call of Duty 2, writing, watching movies... everything but not sleeping...

Shyamalan is the best, along with Darren Aronofsky who takes second place in my top 3 directors.

Okay, Aronofsky has only made two films, so it's kind of hard to say he is one of the best director's out there. Requiem was a great film, Pi was okay. But how can you say a he is one of the top director's with so little to judge from. I think time might prove you right, but it's way too early to say.

Yeah you can say he's talented but that's about it. A person becomes great and a master after consistently delivering the goods over time.

I am interested to see what Aronofsky does with the Lost episode he's directing. Hope he does something unique to his style with it.

Yeah, it should be really interesting to see what he does in the confines of the show. At first I thought it was an odd choice, but the more I thought about it, the more curious and excited I became.

I wonder, sadly, how many of Lost's regular viewers will actually know who he is either by name or having seen one of his two films... I mean, I doubt they'll do the same kind of spots they did for the Tarantino directed CSI.
