damn, I´d like so much to watch it! It´s a pitty I can´t. I just don´t feel good about all this nudity stuff macgregor is into.

Nice, Mac. The landscape is amazing. Was this shot in the canary islands? You didn't use the G35 here, right? It doesn't display the same latitude of your other work shot with the G35. What wide angle did you use? How about CC? Seing this reminds me that I absolutely love my FX1 but I find it a pitty that most people will only be able to apreciate my work in SD (around here it's going to take a while for HD to become the main format). Back to your work, Secret Garden is still the king for me.

Watched in my small 9" tv and it was INCREDIBLE. I´ll test it in a 42" plasma tv. You had a good budget! Take a crane to a place like that is not so cheap.
 
Maybe I missed the deadline but I couldn't view it either. Any chance you can re-post it Macgregor?
 
Man, that's some nice imagery. Nice and crisp. It kinda interesting to me. I see three unique looks to things.... you've got film, then you've got video, then you've got HD which to me is somewhere inbetween. HD is so real its almost surreal in my eyes.

I like that shot aprox 1:40 into it where magda is standing on the hill with the other hill in the background. It looks as though the hills are moving independently of each other.

What did you use for a dolly?
Did you do any post work? Or is this straight out the cam?
 
it looks so sharp...it almost looks CG. i have the same questions as reflex. ..also did you use any filters while shooting? if so which? where is this place? how high was the crane you used?

WMP is a pain for me ... i would really like to see a QT of this.

Why did you do this? You´re not so sure about the CF25 being a good way to achieve progressive OR the femjoy specs were interlaced video? How did you deinterlace and what was the better result for you: CF25 or 1080i to 24p?
