We posted some grabs, and the earlier teaser trailer on here. Unfornately our project had to get cancelled because of one of our leads. By that time he'd been dicking us around for four months, so we've already moved into pre production on another project. But seeing as how we said we were going to, we at least have one 8 and a half minute scene, to show the people who were interested from the get go.

You can access it from Here

Thanks a lot

don't feel afraid to comment. it may take a while to view, unfortunately couldn't render any smaller in time to put it up. but please, the comments would severely help. We felt this is our best work yet.

Thanks,
Josh

hats off to the director / editor of this thing. It must be really shitty abandoning this thing. Personnally I'd find a way to make it work. Shoot some sort of conclusive ending.

If it had some closure, I'd say slap on some titles and credits, and let it stand alone as a short.

My only complaint - your lead in the car tends to "mug" to the camera alot. ( he looks at the lens)

it's really distracting and can take you out of the moment...

And in the future ( because I think there is alot of editing / directing talent here ) hire or find actors that are a little older. They come off more credible. Unless the part calls for it of course.

Over all, really enjoyed it. Check out the trailer for my new short, I think it is up your alley

thanks for the kind words. it was absolutely terrible that we had to abandon it, but it would require re casting and re shooting the scene. as far as actors ages, you're exactly right, we just have no money to pay professional actors. so we got the loud mouth chubby kid (john palmer, who is also the reason the short had to be abandoned [he joined a theater club at school, lost interest in the new flesh]), and mike, who couldn't even enunciate. But, it was an excellent practice with joe for directing, and i think it's still a testament that at such a young age, the kid's got a style. (who else directs a dialogue like a 70's kung fu flick). And it was also good for my editing. So at the very least, major practice was had. we also learned we can't depend on anyone.

but the next project is going to be even bigger, and more details will soon follow. but thanks for the comments.
