I need a little raw 100b 24p for a test

Can anyone help me with this? I'm in the market for a dvx and would like to drop some raw footage into vegas just to see what results I can expect. I've been perusing a lot of compressed stuff and it's impressive, but I really want to see for myself what uncompressed footage looks like. PM me if you can help out and I'll give you my email. I have to go to work now, but I'll check back around midnight. Thanks in advance! -Chris

My "Bee" is also on it's way. I hope we like em'. You better not get your's first!

I bet you people reading this expected to see some raw footage, but instead you just came across two guys talking about their "Bees" being on the way.

I'm sure you'll get yours first RM :( I just checked the B&H site and they're still processing my Bee, although my pelican case and spreaders are already in transit. Man, it's going to bee tough sitting in my place with a fresh case and nothing to put in it.

You must be doing the same thing I'm doing, checking to see what people said after you post something. :)
I ordered mine from EVS over the phone and it's supposed to ship today.

You could still carry your case around and pretend like you're a big shot producer until the camerea comes.
If anyone asks "What's in the case" you can just tell them that "You have numerous projects in various stages of production" and stare intently into the distance as if you are framing your next shot and wander away (you could also hold your hands up in that director's "shot framing position" for extra effect).

Looks like you're both expecting your "B"s. Be planning on what you're going to shoot with them so we can "see what you can do."

I'm also going to buy my Bee soon, and I would definitely like to see some raw footage before the final decision. First I planned buying the HVX, but then again, the double price, is it really worth it?

It's really worth it, but you need a system that is ready to edit HD. And P2 cards, at this point, are expensive and won't hold many minutes of HD. Which means you might want to budget in a Firestore to record footage to.

So, if you buy the HVX, there are a few other things you need to buy/upgrade.

Check out the XHA1. IMHO its a great compromise between the dvx100b, and the hvx200.

At around $3200-$3500.00 you can't beat it.
