HOLLYWOOD GOTHIC TRAILER Recut and Improved

Blaine

Mr. Hollywood
So after finally getting our hard drive back we were able to recut the trailer. We tightened it up some, took out the VO and replaced the canned music with scoring from the movie. We are anticipating the rest of the scoring to be finished Monday (Mar 6th). We'll lay it in the start working on the sound levels. We're hoping to have the movie completed in two more weeks!!! Then the fun begins.

So anyway, here's the link to the new trailer. It is an H.264 compression so QT7 is required.

Running time is 2 minutes 40 seconds and the file size is 16.7 MB.

EDIT: Here's the synopsis:

Caspar DeVries and his film crew want to make a movie in the worst way. By all accounts that's just what they appear to be doing...making a movie in the WORST way, which begs the question - can a movie be so bad it kills? Or is something else bumping off the cast and crew of "Carmilla" perhaps the worst vampire movie ever shot.

And what was Preston Atwood, long time B-film star, thinking when he signed onto the project, hoping to resurrect his faltering career? Now, along with the other members of the cast and crew, they find themselves locked in a creepy old building and defenseless. They must find out what it is that is killing them, if they expect to make it through the night and get out alive.

"I have no intention of dying my dear boy"

LOL. Great. The trailer gives me a "Hell Night" (1981) kind of vibe.

Thanks, we were definitely shooting for the 80s vibe. The "director" Caspar DeVries was shooting Carmilla set in the 80s.

Haha, that was great. I loved the swinging chandelier shadow. I like the concept too. Can a movie be so bad it kills? Ha, I think I know the answer to that one.:kali:

Glad you liked it. We were going for pure camp during the "Carmila" stuff (the swinging chandelier) and we wanted to sprinkle laughs throughout to counterbalance the horror elements.

Time to put up the poster.
