How in the world do I remove the anti-reflection plate?

Well, just look on the bright side... At least I haven't asked about that annoying clunk sound I keep hearing yet... ;)

 Hey Gary,
Glad you figured it out. Hopefully you didn't hurt your baby too bad.
I was afraid you were puttin' me on. And I too, hope your baby is okay.

Oh boy... So I noticed something else... This is NOT the clunk sound that you hear when the camera is off...

When the camera is ON... If I tilt it up and down... It sounds like a loose screw is rolling around inside the camera. Done this since day one. Any idea? Am I going to have to (already) send this back or am I worrying for nothing?

Just when I thought we were in the clear. Let's play doctor (No, not in that way you sick f*%$:)) Did you perform any other intrusive surgery other than the anti-reflection plate? Or even perhaps during the attempted removal of said plate, a piece came loose?

This was happening before I tried anything. I heard it along with the clunk the moment I took the camera out of the package. The difference being, when I turned the camera on, the clunk went away, the "loose screw sound" didn't.

And I never actually removed the anti-reflection plate. Those darn screws were too tiny. :(

I take it this is not normal then? :(

I just picked my camera up to try to see what you could possibly be hearing. I wouldn't call it a "loose screw" but there is something that makes a sound when the camera is on and tilted back and forth. But I've never had a problem with my camera. At this point, unless it really bothers you and you notice some problem with the camera functioning, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Perhaps someone else can shed some more light.

Sorry. I'll get my camera and try and figure out the "loose screw" noise. We know it can't be a *Titanium Stabilizing Rod* (after this morning's reprimand).

It's different from the clunk. The clunk does away when the camera is on. The loose screw stays. Or are you guys just effin' with me? Is this normal?

I'm so confused...

No, we're not allowed to f with you about that anymore:(. I'm dead serious. I hear something, but never worried about it. Ok, upon FURTHER examination, try putting your viewfinder up and holding the battery so it doesn't move as you move the camera. I think the battery moves ever so slightly making a noise. I'm not sure anyone can help you beyond that without actually hearing the sound. Just don't show it to whoever told you to take the anti-reflection plate off.

Boy, I sure don't want to tell you that it's abnormal, cause I don't want Jan or Isaac Brody to get mad. But my camera doesn't have a "loose screw" sound.

Is this thread for real? Damn.....I feel so naive sometimes.

Alright... I took the camera out again to test it out... Tilted it without the battery... No sound... Tilted with the battery... No sound...

Looks like it may have been the battery being loose... But it's fine now.

Okay... Case closed. You guys rule!

Oh yeah, this thread is for real.

I'm just real dumb, that's all.

Pay no attention to the man behind the sunshade....no honestly. I really don't hear anything either. Carefully inspect the outside of the camera and check if you can see anything. A hole where a screw might have been, check your handstrap, LCD screen, etc. Good luck, I hope you don't really have a loose screw in there.

EDIT: Oh thank god, I can sleep now:) Now go shoot something dammit!

Shoot... something?

Is that what you're supposed to do with this? I thought it played Nintendo games... Boy do I feel silly! :(

i bet its one of those conflict diamonds from earlier and i bet you tipped it out on accident fooling around with the camera....start looking around your living room floor for it man....
