What settings for an export?

I made my project in Premiere although now I am wanting to add some colour correcting. Export and then burn it to DVD.

What should be settings be to achieve the same "widescreen'ness" in AE as it is in Premiere?

I left settings default, however, the frame size seems to be at a different ratio in my work window. Unfortunately my teacher is a ditz and she has no clue.

those two settings show the same aspect ratio as far as I can tell. The dimensions are the same too. Post a screenie of the Composition preview and the Premiere preview. Whats the difference you are seeing between the two? Does the premier footage not fit the composition window?

When I export to AVI (uncompressed, or DVPAL 16:9 specifications) then import in to premiere it imports as 1.067 pixel aspect

Does premiere have import settings you can fiddle with in regards to aspect ratio? I'm an Avid guy, so I'm not familiar with premiere, sorry. Maybe the guys in the premiere forum would know better?

I assume that your export from AE says the pixel aspect is 0.9, right?
