Anyone have a clue why this is happening,

I sometimes use the capture still or .jpg button above the preview window. It used to work fine by taking a still image at 720x480. Now when I hit the button the frame is 687x480? or the same as if you had the sync device checked even though it isnt.

Also, it's set to Full, yes?

Still images are square-pixel. The 720x480 matrix is rectangular-pixel.

Thats what I thought too, Its not checked, I tried it both ways and they still capture at a different aspect ration.

This is an old one that was done a few months ago.

You will notice that the image is 360x240, just like the preview window was.

Now this one.

It has been resized either way and is 327x240.

The same is true for the larger images and whether or not the quality has changed, I have beat this to death and it wont fix it.

327x240 would be half (actually 1/4) of 655x480, which is what DV displays as when you have "Simulate Device Aspect Ratio" checked. Makes sense to me.

Okay so its a glitch,

I have tried it both ways with it on and off. I see that the preview window changes when the device is checked, but even after unchecking it still gives me the ratio difference.
