I was wondering if anyone could spread some light to the ignorant (me) regarding selective sharpening.
I'm wondering if one can recreate this in Resolve:
If you know your way round Relovle there are a million ways to isloate areas of the image, qualifer, selection tools etc.
So add a node (sharpen) and use those tools.
Personally I sharpen all of my F3 footage simple sharpen value 46 and then use the luminance qualifier to exclude values from maybe 0-30 and 80-100 from the sharpen node - this means you are not sharpening blocking in the shadows or highlight edges.
