Well, the effects were good, but the quick cuts and weak story hurt it. The movie was non-stop stuff exploding a shooting. Wich isnt bad, but I think that If it had less action and more story it could have been a much better movie.

I've never played the games. Was Apacolypse one of them? Are they following the story line of the games?

yes and no. i thought the movie was horrible.

First time I played a game in the RE series was PS2 RESIDENT EVIL The Directors Cut. I rented it thinkning "A zombie horror survival game?". Me being the Undead lover went home and plopped it in.

It has the usual "opening sequence" using cool cinematic style presentation and then...

Your a character with a pistol. Two cop cars are on fire next to you. You are in a city. You can hear "moaning" (not the cool kind but the undead style) and then from stage right comes 2 burning zombies out ot get you! Agggghhh!!!

Some of the coolest games I have ever played. Totally scary when the lights are out and the sourround sound turned up.

Too bad the movies blow.

the games wear great. the original resident evil game was awesome...so damned scary. i love how over the course ofthe game you culd find diaries with people writing about whats going on, then the words and sentences get all wierd and then fall off...then when you are done reading them, the zombie that the person turned ito comes out of a locker or something...scary!

i did kinda like the orginal movie though...i always thought it was so close to being a good movie...but he only took it 75% of the way...oh well.

Loved all the RE games

could not put them down and awsome/scary to play at night

It was really cool to see the big Nemisis Guy in RE2 which stayed true to the game....."Stars"

The special effects were much better than RE1 but the really fast cutting during the action made it hard to follow

However can't wait to see RE3 and her scary new powers

Will we maybe see the Tyrant?

I thought this movie kicked ass.

Can't wait till the 3rd one.

Great zombie series.

Do you think there will be a third one? I felt that they pretty much wrapped it up at the end. A third one would be a mistake in my opinion.

The movie was not all that bad, com'on theres far more worst movies than RE. Jason X was one of them. I was dissapointed in the ending though.
