I just bought the DVD and watched it(ebay $6).  Wow, amazing cinematography, editing, acting and good complex story, very impressive, it could have been one of my favorite films, but somewhat failed at the end, too bad. A must see film for anyone who is into violent and off beat revenge stories. I hear they are making a remake in the states. What a shame that the public cannot watch films with subtitles.

Re: OLD BOY

I have watched the trailer, and I am going to see this movie this week in the movietheater. Looks like heavy stuff to me.

Re: OLD BOY

I love that movie! I really liked his first film too (Sympathy for Mr. Vengence). These are the first two of a planned "revenge" trilogy.
Hopefully, he puts the last one out soon as I can't wait.
