So after 3 months of waiting, I saw this movie tonight.

I thought it was hilarious.

Eddie Murphy plays 3:
Norbit: Man with a lisp who has an abusive wife
Mr. Wong: The old asian man who raised Norbit
Rasputia: Norbit's abusive wife

There were some low brow jokes and some sub-par effects, but the comedy overall was some of the best PG13 humor I've seen since Zoolander.

it was alright i wish the went into more stuff about why norbit was who he was he acts weird you know but i still thought it was ok but it was average.... but it was shot well and the girl in that was hot. and classic eddie murphy.
 
lol he sucks i worked with Martin Lawrence when he did Black Knight the dude demanded people to get fired for looking at him and we had to put plywood down for him to walk across becuase he didnt want to get his shoes dirty... what an ass.

What an ass is right. And, man thats funny because I was thinking about saying the same thing about Eddie Murphy. I love his comedy for sure but my brother is a contractor and Eddie has the SAME policy for those guys...you work on his property or his house you are ordered to NOT look at him. What a dick.
 
i hear a lot of celebs are like that with the 'don't look at me' rule...whats up with that?

I don't remember where I read (Joe Ezterhas' book?) that Julia Roberts moved into an apartment complex and sent out a memo to all the other unit owners that "people were not to speak or look at her" She's not that great.
 
Actors and politicians (heh - is there any difference?), should ALL have the same rule: Two terms - and you are out. Let others have their place in the sun.
 
I managed to get all of my friends who said that this movie "looked stupid" to come with me tonight.

I'm going for a second time. That's how funny I thought Norbit was.
