Non-Fungible Tokens - creating scarcity and value in a digital ecosystem?

ive been filming some stuff like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erIf-aJ7VwU

I take it seriously as histroic documentation.. in 9 months many of these streets may be banned for cars

as such historical documentation I feel the shots will become important for future documentarians.

(ok not that important I get it)

So if an NFT can help me control the copyright and collect fees if it is ripped/used then all good ?

But im thinking a blinking great watermakr is probably the way forward.

Lots you can do here through a combination of NFT smart contracts and IPFS. For instance, Put an unencrypted watermarked version on IPFS as well as an encrypted clean version. Use buyer' public key to encrypt the decryption password and store in their NFT on purchase. Embed identifying information in the video metadata before hashing the video file and storing that in the NFT metadata. Zip and hash metadata and store the zip's hash in the NFT. Metadata can include the license conveyed to the buyer.

If you shoot any kind of footage that might be subject to copyright theft like the earthquake coverage of Haiti a few years back a blockchain record of your image hashes recorded when they were taken would be pretty incontrovertible proof that you shot them (the hash of raw files plus the cryptographic signature needed to sign the record.)
