Want to Network with Filmmakers or Showcase Your Video Portfolio?
Just wanted to share with you guys a networking and portfolio tool for filmmakers and actors that I am currently working at. This website lets you create a beautiful film reel of your work, to post casting calls in your local area, and to maintain your relationships in the film industry (similar to a Facebook or LinkedIn for filmmakers)
http://flickfire.com
Example portfolio: http://flickfire.com/kevin
A very fast, 20-second registration by Facebook!
You can also embed your videos from Youtube and Vimeo. No need to upload them again!
Free Short Film Contest
FlickFire is hosting a free film short film contest. FREE entry, winners get some gift certificates to either BH Photo Video, Apple Store, or Amazon + have their work shown on the homepage of FlickFire. There aren't very many strict guidelines, pretty much if you've made a short narrative film, you can enter it.

I hope you guys enjoy my links! Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
