My precious electric guitar

Spent some hours today modelling this:

It's my Squier Stratocaster with some lousy textures:

What do you think? :)

hey thats good work!

The only tip I would say is make the texture of wood smaller, because at the moment it looks like if the object is very small.

two thumps up!

Its looking even better, but now its got that "repeating tile" effect that is common result of using tiling textures over a large area, what you need to do is add some "Chaos" and randomness to beak up that "tiled" effect.

Try this free software:

http://www.textureshaker.com/

It can create massive natural looking textures from even a single small texture.

Enjoy

If i can add some constructive criticism, the upper horn of the body is a bit different from the real thing.

Miniman...Goin back to scale for a sec, I would suggest adding some elements to the shot to give reference to the guitars size. Maybe lean it against an amp, or put it on a guitar stand?

Good modelling!
