Music Video rights when working paid, volunteer or Pro bono?

What is the general consensus regarding working on Music Videos for;
- paid
- volunteer or pro bono

What rights would you give the artist/client of the music video;
- can the artist sell the music video, the same way they sell their audio music?
- do you allow them a copy of all raw footage or just the final product?
- do you ask for release forms filled from all the cast involved?
- do you give them full creative decisions on the project or would you only do it if you get creative control - volunteer/pro bono?
- do you make up a contract for the project?
- do you include the option for your own version and theirs when offering these services - or is that too time consuming and would prefer one version that both or either one of you agrees on?
- what happens if the artist decides to stop releasing the song or does not want to have the video available any more - do you follow or continue using it as part of your portfolio or to promote your services since you placed a lot of time and effort on it?
- do you ask rights to also use the song for your own promotions, channels, etc. through a contract?
- what sort of credits would you usually ask for - eg. credit mention when video is embedded, small watermark on clip, start track credits, end track credits, etc?
- do you usually place a clause somewhere - if so, what sort of clauses do you think should be included?
- what information should you clearly state to the artists when working with them?
- what agreements would you clearly want between all parties before working on a project?
- what expenses would you want covered by the artists - paid or volunteer?
- would you ask to include any incentives if you were to work on the project volunteer/pro bono with the artists - invite to their launch, gig etc.?

And anything else that you think should be included in this?

Thank you.
