Is it possible to make someone transparent in AE and if so how? Any help would be appreciated.

1.What you can do is shoot a raw plate with no one there.
Make sure the camera is static and locked down. (It's easier to do this when your camera is static.) Trust me.
2. Bring in your subject and have him do his thang, whatever it is.
3. Import both clips onto you AE timeline. Make sure your clip with the subject is on top of the raw clip.
4. Click on the top clip and hit q or click and open the properties change its oppacity and adjust to whatever look you desire.
I hope this helps, I don't have AE with me so I can't really give you a details.
You can also do a search online for AE tutorials. There are tons.
