larry clark's "kids" movie What camera w as used?

[BrettR.]

I know it's odd askign about a camera used in a movie made over ten years ago, but to me it felt panasonicish to me... I'm not sure if the old dvx-100 was out back then or not...

if anyone knows it would be cool if you could share.

[Zak Forsman]

it was shot on 35mm film.

The DVX100 was released in 2003, if I remember correctly.

Wassup Rockers, on the other hand, was shot on the XL-2. I'm sure he would have shot DV on Kids if there was a viable solution at the time.
