Remember, there is close to 1k price difference. If you are new to the system the mkII offers more than enough. Personally, I'm waiting for the big one.

probably they do but if you need wireless streaming now it could be a great option

I would wait until people start using the streaming feature before throwing any parades. Been disappointed by other Panasonic cameras that had some sort of streaming capability advertised only to find how limited it really was in real world use. If you can integrate it into a live switch situation with OBS and an ATEM etc... then it will be a great tool. If it is just to pop onto Facebook with a periscope - is anybody going to pay you for doing this?

I don't think the mk2 is really intended as an upgrade for existing users. More of an incentive for new users vs the very old GH5.
I guess if one really wants the new features they could but I don't really think it is expected as the norm.
I bought a Canon M6 for stills but if the Gh6 delivers I will be back. Still have all my m43 glass I use with a P4k for video.
