Get slight horizontal scanlines with exported After Effects footage in Premiere Pro

Hi, just had a question about footage I export from After Effects 6.5.

I'm editing a project in Premiere Pro 1.5 in a 29.97fps Lower Fields Timeline. I export the footage with Lower Fields 29.97fps. Bring it into AE 6.5, apply my effects. Export it as a DV/DVCPRO - NTSC at full quality at 29.97 fps.

When i bring the footage back to Premiere Pro and drop it on the timeline it's fine. But as soon as i apply any effects, color correction, or speed up the clip, after rendering i get slight horizontal scanlines across the frame, very slight, but still annoying. Is their anything i'm doing wrong. Is After Effects deinterlacing my footage?

How can i get rid of this problem?
Thanks allot guys.

Double check the frame sizes between the two apps. (720 x 480)
Does Premiere know it's interlaced footage?
If you're changing speeds is it set to do field blending?

When you export from AE, you will be exporting 30p ( as Scottdvx100 helped me to grasp). After Effects IS deinterlacing the video for you and turning into 30p. It could be that you are set up to recieve interlaced footage in Permiere? Maybe it is trying to make interlaced footage out of progressive?

You can set up After Effects to output WITH fields, and that may help.

Thanks for the replies guys.

When changing speeds I always take off field blending. I'm now posative this is hapening because Premiere is interpreting the footage as interlaced and getting progressive.

So should i be exporting 30fps out of AE instead of 29.97? Also where do I exactly set the option to export interlaced rather then progressive in AE.

Thanks again.
