Film Study Group in Los Angeles

I am starting a film study group in Los Angeles (around Pasadena area). I want the group to be an intimate study group - with at most 6 people. People of all ages, gender, and levels of experience.

The purpose of this group is to exchange ideas and knowledge, to help each other grow as filmmakers/storytellers, to give each other tools and ideas.

I posted an ad on Craiglist a few hours ago, and 2 people responded with e-mails.

One of them is a writer who "loves the art of film and appreciates the power and influence of storytelling".

Another is an actress/singer.

With people from all ages and different backgrounds, there can be a number of perspectives and different ideas exchanged.

Here is the original post, hope I can get another study partner.

*Looking for people who spend time intensively studying film, drama (etc. all methods of storytelling) - students of life and interactions and students of the art of storytelling. People who want to learn about the history of film and what filmmakers, novelists, poets, and dramatists have accomplished with storytelling. People who want to experiment with film and push the medium to its greatest limits.

I want to form a study group that meets every week for 3 hours.
During these meetings, I want people to share what they have learned over the course of the week, in their intense solo study. To exchange tips, ideas, and things that have been helpful to them in their understanding of life and their creativity. I want to create a noncompetitive environment with people seeking not only to edify themselves but others. *
