It's free to try, don't you just want to try it and learn something for yourself through an experience?
If someone tells you they tried it and made a million dollars, would you expect the same results? Or just looking for a little confidence booster?
Dude, it is a brutal industry for the independent Joe or Jane. There are hundred thousand dollar, even a million+, budget films on YouTube for free just for the potential exposure. What are the chances of anyone watching or picking up your work? I don't know but I would say they are very low, which is why people try anything and everything (if and when they can without conflicts).
How much worse could it be than Amazon Prime or something else where you hear those stories where people are making $17.56 over the course of 6 months.
Sure, someone eventually hits it just right, and I hope it's you.
