Edius Broadcast V4.03 is out

I've been checking the Canopus website several times a day, and the update to Edius Broadcast V4.03 just appeared. If you haven't created a login yet and registered your copy of Edius, you'll have to do that in order to download the update.

EDIUS Software v4 v4.03 Update

Windows XP

This update contains bug fixes and improvements, and is an official localized version.

Supported languages include German, French, Italian, Simplified Chinese installations.

Improvements from the previous version (v4.01):

• Fixed issue with batch select (clip color was wrong)
• Fixed issue with multicam (camera cut point not displayed properly)
• Fixed issue with trim mode (Window layout)
• Fixed issue with audio trim
• Fixed issue when trimming sequence clips with negative speed
• Fixed issue with changing speed of sequence clips
• Fixed issue with importing projects made by EDIUS v3 or earlier
• Fixed issue with QuickTitler when inputting long text
• Fixed issue when trimming title clips
• Fixed issue when exporting sequence still images
• Fixed issue when canceling export of AVI files
• Fixed issue when ungrouping clips
• Fixed issue when saving still images from timeline
• Fixed issue when using OpenType fonts
• Official localized version for German, French, Italian, and Simplified Chinese

probably a dumb question, but is this an update for US English users as well (or do we just stay with 4.01)?

It's English plus official support for the translations that are mentioned above. The only localization support prior to this was through an unofficial V4.02 beta, which broke a few things such as multicam editing.

Edit: Damn. Still doesn't address the "drive too slow" issue when recording 720p. Works in 1080 but not 720 . . . whacky, no?
