Isara Founder and DVXuser member, PK Gillock, will do the entire journey on a small motorcycle (moped), similar to those used by 80% of the Thai population. But he'll be doing it alone. Because something like this has never been done before, the two week event will get national news coverage and be promoted heavily within the provinces he'll visit. Those interested can track his progress via www.isara.com starting November 6th.
The "Helmets for Life" campaign will not only help raise awareness but also help raise money for future projects. You or your office can help by sponsoring the journey:
.01 cent/km = $25
.02 cents/km = $50
.03 cents/km = $75
.04 cents/km = $100
.05 cents/km = $125
.10 cents/km = $250
As a special thank you, anyone who donates will have their name written on a light blue ribbon. These ribbons will be tied around town signs he visits along the way. The path of PK's 2,500 km journey will form the shape of a HUGE heart and the ribbons will be a lasting reminder of the lives lost in accidents and also the love and respect for life that you have shown for others. Please spread the word by inviting your friends, family, or co-workers to help too.
As always, 100% of all donations is used to create new projects. Donations can be made via creditcard or PayPal by clicking here.
Thank you for any support you can provide.
